The Tubridy Show - Materials

We hope you enjoyed Rowan's rantings with Ryan and that you found something useful in all the back-and-forth. Below is the extract from the book that Rowan alluded to. If you right-click it, you can download it to your desktop and get to work on your CV and your approach to the market, plus we've included some thoughts to kickstart your thinking for the broader job-hunt.

Thanks again for all your texts and emails on the day. Any and all feedback – rotten eggs included – will be gratefully welcomed, so don't be shy; do drop us a line and let us know how you're getting on and if the materials and the ideas discussed on the show have been of value to you or not.

The Profiler

A summary at the top of your CV: There was an email question regarding putting a thumbnail profile of yourself at the top of your CV which we didn't have time to cover properly. Here's a piece on that topic from Rowan's blog which you may find of some help.

Gaps on your CV?: We touched briefly on this - some more thoughts on how to deal with this tricky problem.

Spam CVs: A good example of what we mean when we talk about untargeted, junk-mail, spammy CVs ...

Approaching the market: Here also is that piece on route of entry into the market than we talked about during the session.

Thanks as always to Ryan and the team; it's over to you now – good luck, good hunting and we hope we have helped in some small way ...
